December 2008: For the benefit of  Ramet Chinyama's Hippo and Bird Sanctuary project in Malawi the Wildlife Action Group organised a "Christmas crib with live animals"  at a Christmas market near Tuntenhausen to support Ramet Chinyamas efforts to rebuild the Hippo Sanctuary, which was burned down by a bushfire.
